WE ARE LOOKING FOR SENIOR ANDROID SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN DANANG/HCM TO JOIN US!

Our target talent is an Android System Software Engineer. Proficiency in core embedded architecture and development (including drivers, encoding, decoding, image processing, and device management) is essential. Additionally, your drive to achieve Sprint Goals extends to broader ecosystem aspects such as applications and framework integration, particularly emphasizing security.

Key Responsibilities

• You will play a pivotal role in translating user stories into practical implementations that align with the overall software architecture.

• You develop and optimize Android systems by proficiently using C++, Kotlin, and Java, including Android OS framework customizations, new services, and system applications.

• You deliver high-quality code, including documentation and unit testing.

• You make informed technological choices balancing speed to market and high quality.

• You define integration approaches towards 3rd party components.

• You will contribute to embedded software development for products in the ClickShare portfolio.

Qualifications

• You have at least 5 years of proven software development experience in Android.

• Android development skills:

  • Proficient in Android development with Java/Kotlin.

  • Proficient in Android AOSP framework layer development and debugging.

  • Experience in multi-layer architectures from application to framework and kernel layer.

• You are familiar with these domains/tools:

  • Python, C++, Qt

  • Networking, security, video/audio processing, codecs, OpenGL, Android media framework

  • CI/CD, Jenkins, TDD, automation

• You have the ability to work independently in a global organization with tight deadlines.

• You are proficient in written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin.

• You have the experience in scaled Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Soft skills:

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

• Logical thinking, passionate about technology, and a strong team player

• Open minded and proactive
